Crossing the Finish Line

Friends, you made it 21 days!! I’m SO PROUD OF YOU!! You really can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens you!

Today, remember what you’ve learned. Remember the tools you’ve been given. Take a moment to rest and give thanks to the Lord, for truly, HE IS GOOD!

Perhaps revisit some information that stood out to you. Take some screenshots or notes (remember, this content is only available on this page until October 8!). If you feel anxious, afraid, or offended about anything, remember, “Lord, bind my flesh. Peace. Breathe.”

The purpose of this fast was to draw us closer to Jesus while bringing truth and awareness to our bodies and to the serious health issues we’re facing today. Our goal was to ultimately lead you into more freedom by pointing you to Jesus in ALL things.

Imagine the revival that we can spark as we continue to say NO! to the things that have the potential to destroy our freedom and reduce us back to slavery. I pray that it begins right here, right now, with us!

Assess the progress you made (or didn’t make) in the last 3 weeks.
What did the Lord show or teach you?
What is your body trying to tell you?
Is your spit test still positive?
Do you still have a white coating on your tongue?
How are your bowel movements?
How’s your energy and mental clarity?
Do you have any lingering or new symptoms?

If you feel significantly better, ask the Lord if this means there are new lifestyle habits that would benefit you to persevere with.

If you try adding in new foods:
Start with gluten-free grains or lower glycemic/slower burning carbohydrate foods like:

  • sprouted or brown/black/wild rice
  • quinoa
  • sweet potatoes
  • berries
  • grapefruit
  • melons, etc.

I recommend adding them one at a time to see if any of your old symptoms come back. If you still feel well, continue adding whole foods back into your diet, paying attention to your body’s response much like we do when we transition a baby onto solid foods.

Listen to your body.
Listen to the Holy Spirit.
Exercise discernment.
Reintroducing even natural sugars, starches, or grains may send you back to dis-ease. Ask the Lord what the next steps and season looks like for YOU. Ask him if there’s anything that is “permissible,” but not (yet) beneficial in this season of your life.

If you still feel sick, have dis-ease, or you’re battling chronic disease, ask God to lead you to the help you need. I highly encourage you to continue fasting from sugars & grains or at least continue with a modified gluten-free, lower carb/glycemic version of this fast until you find a health care provider who can customize a plan for you.

Ask the Lord to help you find a doctor whose intentions are truly to help set you free, get off medications (where possible), restore function to your capable body, and get you back to the abundant life!

Trust God for the healing, provision, strength, ability, perseverance, and resources you will need. FAITH, HOPE & LOVE will conquer all your fears and doubts!

Remember: Pray about EVERYTHING. Seek FIRST the Kingdom in ALL THINGS. Ask the Lord whether you should do your own research or ask a friend for a referral. Ask Him to bring a name or information to you. He can!
